ACCORD’s Annual General Meeting

Overview:
Join us to celebrate our success as members gather to take part in and approve the business activities of the ACCORD executive, and elect new directors for the coming year.

If you are new to ACCORD, you may want to participate in the orientation session that precedes our AGM to learn more about the benefits of your membership.

If you have volunteered this past year, please join us for our annual recognition ceremony – the ACCORD learning oasis is maintained, sustained, and re-created by its member volunteers.

Movie Night at ACCORD
If a picture is worth a thousand words what is a film or movie clip worth?

What role do movies and films currently play in your OD Interventions?

In this session we will be sharing some of the more popular films that are available from various vendors and ideas and clips from movies that help to turn the lights on the concepts we are working with in organizations.

Since we intend for the evening to be interactive please come prepared to discuss what films and movies you have been using and to brainstorm other possibilities from your movie going experiences.

We’ll bring the popcorn you bring the names of your choice films and movies for OD for exchange.


 

Presenters:

Marlene Durrell, M.Ed., as a certified Human Resources Professional has held senior positions in human resources in both for profit and not-for-profit organizations over the past 20 years. She has worked as a Human Resource and Change Management Consultant for two major consulting firms. Drawing on her coach training, experience as a member of the executive team in a number of companies and her knowledge of organizational development, Marlene coaches executives, CEO’s and executive teams to achieve their outstanding results. She is a licensed facilitator of several leadership and coaching programs and has conducted strategic planning initiatives with a variety of organizations.

Marcelene Anderson’s area of expertise and passion is working with organizations to envision their ideal future and ensure successful implementation of strategies and plans to achieve results. She offers expertise in change management, organizational assessment, facilitation, performance management systems, developing high performing, and effective workplaces.  She is a Principal with the Centre for Strategic Management and has 25 years of consulting experience.

Cancellation Policy:

Due to the nature of Connection events and Faculty Club policy, please note that pre-payment of the connection event fee can not be refunded without one week prior written notice of cancellation. Substitutions are welcome.

Cancellations received with less than one weeks notice will be billed the registration fee to cover the costs associated with your registration.
