IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Changes to ACCORD

To Friends of ACCORD,
Please join the re-launch of ACCORD as an on-line community. Membership is free and is open to anyone who is interested in being part of an online community of diverse professionals who are committed to fostering creative change, organizational renewal and development. This document will provide you with all the details on how to join.
The Yahoo group features a discussion/message board, a space to share files, photos, links, and a calendar. Once you have signed up, help us build this online community by creating a discussion on a topic of interest, post files you are willing to share, add links to useful resources, or post information about an upcoming event in the calendar.
We have also created a Facebook group. It will provide members with an alternate discussion board and a social networking space, and provide future members with a link to the main Yahoo Group.
Detailed instructions on how to join the Yahoo and Facebook groups are available on page 2 and 3. For those of you who are interested in attending face to face events you may be interested in looking at the Strategic Capabilities Network. Details are included on the last page of this document.

HOW TO JOIN THE ACCORD YAHOO GROUP:
- In your web browser go to Yahoo Canada (www.yahoo.ca)
- Click on “groups” on the left hand menu
- In find a Yahoo Group enter “ACCORD_OD” then click on search
- Select the “ACCORD_OD” icon to open the group
- Click on “Join This Group!”
- Enter your Yahoo email address and password or click on “sign up” to set one up
- Complete the steps required to join the group
- Once your membership is approved by the moderator you will receive an email confirmation
- You are now ready to help build the online community by posting content!
HOW TO JOIN THE ACCORD FACEBOOK GROUP:
- In your web browser go to Facebook and log on or create a new profile (www.facebook.com)
- Click on the groups Icon at the bottom of the page
- In the “Search for Groups” field type ACCORD-Organization Development Association
- Select the group and join
- Once your membership is approved by the moderator you will receive an email confirmation
